Chance No. 2 is founded by Mia Brillantes, a Somerville native, artist, and rock climber. In 2023, Mia launched Chance No. 2 from discarded or second-hand clothes. The pieces include bags, accessories, and clothing items that are fun, functional, and a creative way to give fabric a second chance. Chance No. 2 is a three pronged approach to action: divert textile waste from landfills, raise funds for the Environmental Defense Fund, and spark conversations about sustainability in the community.
